Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-09
Gjej Bej helps people discover, create, join and leave community events. It does not collect money or manage reservations.
1. In-person payments
Any event charge is paid in person directly to the organiser or venue. Before paying, confirm who is selling the service, the total price and currency, what is included, and their cancellation and refund terms. Ask the seller for a receipt.
2. Joining and leaving
You can leave an event using its leave action. This updates your participation only. It does not cancel a separate reservation or ask the seller for a refund. Any reservation, cancellation or payment arrangement is handled directly with the organiser.
3. Requesting a refund
If you paid an organiser or venue, request a refund directly from the party that received your payment. Keep the event details, receipt and relevant correspondence. If you need help identifying a listing or reporting misleading information, contact gjejbej@gmail.com with the event link and a brief explanation. Do not email card numbers, bank credentials or identity documents.
Gjej Bej cannot return money it has not collected and does not promise an organiser’s refund decision or processing time. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer rights or the operator’s own legal responsibilities.
4. Cancellations and legal rights
Organisers should inform participants about an event cancellation or significant change and explain any applicable refund or alternative. Rights depend on the seller, transaction and applicable law. Do not assume a universal 14-day cooling-off right for an in-person payment or a leisure activity on a specific date. Mandatory rights, including remedies where a paid service is not provided, remain available where applicable.
5. Future paid features
If Gjej Bej introduces payments or reservations, it must publish the seller identity, total price, fulfilment and refund terms before accepting an order. This policy does not enable paid checkout.
