Terms of Use

1. Age and eligibility

You must be at least 12 years old to use Gjej Bej. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must permit and supervise your use and your participation in events. They should read these Terms and the Privacy Policy with you. Do not use another person's account to bypass age restrictions.

An event or third-party service may have a higher age requirement. The app's minimum age does not give you permission to attend an age-restricted event or use a service whose rules you do not meet.

2. What Gjej Bej provides

Gjej Bej helps people discover, create, share and join community activities. An organiser's event listing describes their event; unless expressly identified otherwise, the organiser is responsible for running it. We do not guarantee an event's availability, quality, safety, attendance or the identity of other users.

Joining may require the organiser's approval and is subject to available space and the event's rules. Review the meeting point, time, admission details and organiser instructions before you attend. Contact or verification labels do not mean that an event or person has passed a background check.

3. Your account

Provide accurate information, use an email and phone number you are authorised to use, and keep sign-in details and verification codes private. Do not impersonate someone else, share access in a way that misleads others, or attempt to access another account.

Tell us at gjejbej@gmail.com if you believe your account is being misused. You are responsible for your own activity and for correcting inaccurate information you publish.

4. Community rules

Treat people respectfully and publish only lawful, relevant and accurate content. Do not post harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, scams, spam, impersonation, private personal information without permission, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, or content encouraging violence or dangerous unlawful activity.

Do not use Gjej Bej to groom, exploit or sexually solicit a child, arrange unlawful transactions, promote age-restricted goods to minors, or discriminate unlawfully. Do not upload explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or material that infringes another person's rights.

Do not scrape personal data, bypass event privacy or capacity controls, manipulate ratings or attendance, upload malicious software, or disrupt the service. Do not publish another person's phone number, home address or private meeting details without permission.

5. Content you publish

You keep the rights you have in your content. By submitting content, you give Hanxhelo Spahiu a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce and display it as needed to provide Gjej Bej, including event pages and sharing previews, subject to your settings and the Privacy Policy.

You must have the rights and permissions needed for the text, photographs and other material you upload. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content. Removing content or an account may not remove copies already shared by others or records that must lawfully be retained.

6. Organising, admission and cancellations

Organisers must describe the event honestly, including its location, date, capacity, age restrictions and any admission charge. Obtain required venue permissions and comply with applicable safety and other legal obligations. Notify participants promptly about material changes or cancellation.

Gjej Bej does not take payments, sell tickets or handle reservations in this release. Payments are made in person directly to the organiser or venue. Joining or leaving an event records participation; it is not a paid reservation, payment, cancellation of a purchase or refund request. Any reservation is arranged directly with the organiser. Read the Refund & Cancellation Policy and agree the organiser’s price and terms before paying.

7. Meeting people safely

Use your judgement when meeting people. Prefer public meeting places, tell a trusted person your plans and leave if you feel unsafe. Do not publicly share a home address, school, precise private location or sensitive contact information. Young users must involve their parent or guardian before meeting someone or sharing personal information.

The service is not an emergency service. Contact the appropriate emergency services if someone is in immediate danger. You can report concerns about an account, event or content to gjejbej@gmail.com; include a link or identifier and a brief explanation, and avoid unnecessary sensitive details.

8. Misuse and access to the service

We may investigate reported misuse and restrict access, remove content or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to address violations, safety risks or legal duties. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us about the decision.

We do not promise that all content is checked before publication or that every user is verified. Contact gjejbej@gmail.com about a restriction or a content concern. This reporting contact does not replace emergency assistance.

9. Privacy and ending your use

The Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal data and how to make a privacy request. Reading it or accepting these Terms is not blanket consent for optional data uses.

You can stop using Gjej Bej at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact gjejbej@gmail.com. Signing out or removing the app does not delete the account. Retention exceptions are explained in the Privacy Policy.

10. Availability, rights and changes

Features may change or be interrupted for maintenance, security or other operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Each person remains responsible for their own conduct; nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms are governed by applicable Albanian law, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. Contact gjejbej@gmail.com first if you want help resolving a service issue; this does not limit access to a court or competent authority.

We may update these Terms, including the operator's details if the business changes. The date and version identify the text. Material changes will be notified as required by law, and renewed agreement will be sought where required.
